The Big Easy came home for a rib cook!
« Reply #-1 on: June 29, 2013, 11:48:53 PM »
The very first Big Easy that I owned came home this weekend so I could cook ribs for my sister and her hubby.

See, I gave this unit to them back over a year ago cause I had so many cookers I felt it would be a good thing to thin the heard

Kimmie wanted ribs and they wanted to learn how to do ribs in TBE so they brought me the unit back and it was a blast cooking with that little unit again.  Here it is in action with my two SRG's

Been awhile since I used this unit but seems like I have not lost my touch with it... ;)

About how long did they take in there? I have 4 rib hooks for my SRG but have never used them.

I have not tried rib hooks yet but here the way I do these.

Put the ribs in naked for 30 to 35 mins so you start a good bark on them, remove rub with your favrite rub and wrap in 2 sheet HD foil and set them back in for another 40 to 45 mins and there done

TEMP?      Run the SRG on high the entire cook
