I normally parboil my cored peppers before stuffing but skipped that step to simplify the recipe for use on the road with the RV. The green pepper turned out wonderful. Just a tad past al dente: still firm but no longer crunchy! This recipe is being added to my camping repertoire ... 8)

Muebe..these are easy to do in a dutch oven..just make them and add a big can of tomato juice and walk away..they will come out perfect and tomato juice will reduce to a gravy. I do this over the open fire every year. Pam .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.

My wife makes them this way Pam. Sometimes uses spicy V8. No open fire, which I am sure is awesome.

I've definitely got to try those. Dee

Wow! We will have to try your recipe for these. Was just talking about making these this Sunday! And seeing yours prompted me to put peppers on my grocery list. Yours do look good!
