What a beautiful looking area.  The SRG does a great job on steaks. I'm not that familiar with Chuck Eye Steak.  Is there another name?  Dee

Miss Laura's 'GO TO' seasoning - folks outside the NW may not know that brand and flavor....nicely done sir!

Thanks All, The wife picked those steaks up and she said the cashier told her not many people know about those chuck steaks and their almost like Rib eyes and I agree, maybe Rum will know more about them.

Johnny's is great stuff, Kind of like Lawry's seasoning. Johnny's and Worcestchire on a steak is my old favorite.

Those steaks look real tender and moist Aaron. I don't believe I have ever made chuck eye steaks before. I will look for them next time I am at the store ;)

A guy who works part time at Academy works for a meat wholesaler for his full time job. He has told me the Chuck Steaks are as good as ribeye at less cost. I haven't found them in the store yet.

Here's a Link to Rums explanation of meat cuts and names and Chuck eye steak is on there. I was starting to think maybe The butchers name was Chuck and he just liked cutting oddball steaks out of chuck roasts ;) That was just as good as a ribeye in my book plus a little less fat which is even better.
