When cooking chicken in the TBE do you get more crispy skin if you spray it with oil or butter or is it best to just leave it dry.

Thanks

Hey Wayne, you will get crisp skin if you dry all the moister off after washing.  Then you  can rub butter or oil on the skin.  I do oil more often than butter but there are times I use butter  ;)

Add S/P or any rub after you oil then cook

Thanks for the input. Planning on doing some chicks soon. I have a back log of other requests from the wife ( who must be obeyed ) to work though before and can get to the chicken. I want to try the butter and herb injection that I have read about on this site.

Try mayo over and under the skin. Very good

I prefer oil myself, but have been known to use butter occasionally.   ;)
