Just wanted to see how people do their turkeys, do you cook on high the entire time? I have a 14 pound turkey that I will be doing tomorrow. Thanks for the info. John.

High setting entire cook lid down.   Now if there is any burning of the skin lift the lid a little to vent out heat

If you want a smoke flavor lid down.
I usually start lid down high heat until skin gets mildly charred & down to low till I pull at 162F
