got mine for $159 at Sam's Club (listed at $149 on their website)  mind you it isn't the most current model.  (No coil handles or stainless grate)

149.00 on Amazon today. Just ordered one. Not sure if it is the one pictured at the top or the one further down with wire handles and silver base. Guess i will find out Wednesday.

Does the current (newest) model have the coil handles?
When I was  buying mine the charbroil CS lady told me that was the first model, & that the new one had black handles & a black grill grate.

Roget, I think your right about the coil handles being the older model. At least that's the feeling I get after reading some questions and answers on Amazons site. I'll let you know what i get on Wednesday.

In fact  the $7.49 grill I bought last week is the only grill I bought since I have been here...Oops forgot my sears grill lol

Actually I have been pretty tight fisted since joining the forum.
I have only bought one piece of cooking equipment. (the SRG)
But then I haven't been here all that long.
Actually, that isn't true either. I did purchase a Power pressure cooker.
So I've just been kinda pretty good.
Lucky for me V likes my cooking & doesn't ever question my "need" for anything to help me in my endeavor to keep us fed.
