It's been a while since I've been here. A really rough 2 months. My house burned down (no, not because of by cooking!!) And we lost everything. Luckily it was daytime and I was home. I was able to get my boys out and no one was hurt.

Well, I salvaged my SRG and got it all cleaned up today. It is raring to go! I have found a temporary living situation for my family as we rebuild and I can't wait to get this things fired up once again!

WOW, sorry for your loss.  My son went through this last year and it's tough but you will make it.

Glad to see you are not down about this, most folks just get down so bad

Oh my. I feel for you. We lost most of our house to a tornado nine years ago, & we are still recovering.

Glad to hear that everyone's okay.  Similar thing happened to me in 2002.  Fortunately, my two girls and I were making a grocery store run when we got the call from one of their friends that the fire department was there.  If I'd gone by myself, totally different outcome.  I thank our Lord everyday ! ! !

Fonally got my SRG from the salvage of my house. Had to replace the ignitor. Now it is nice and oiled and being primed for its inaugural cook!
