Seajay, Those really look great. I assume they were as juicy and tender as they look.  Dee

A lot of bark on that chicken!

Was the rub sugar based? Sugar will scorch in the SRG.

They both look great!

Great job, you'll love that SRG, drop you a couple of sweet potatoes on the rack when you're doing your meat and you'll have the best sweet potato you've ever tasted.

You're more brave than I am--first cook was JUST a yard bird--came out great--then on to turkey, tri-tips, butts, ribs.   But NOT more than one thing at a time!   Good for you.   Someone has got to stick their neck out so the rest of us will follow!

Looks great! When you get comfortable, get a nice 3 or 4 bone in standing rib roast (prime rib) and put it on s shelf in the middle of the basket.  I take mine up to 140 which is pretty high but the wife doesn't like anything even in the mid rare range, then wrap it in foil to rest. Although it is more done than mid rare it is still juicy and delicious. TBE and SRG make the best baked potatoes ever. Rub them with some peanut or canola oil and sprinkle with some sea salt and put them on a shelf near the top of the basket. Cook for 45 minutes or so, until a wooden skewer will slide in and out easily. That is the only way my wife wants a baked potato now.

Not sure on the sugar content. Both were done using Don Purdomes BBQ seasoning.

Thanks to everyone on the compliments. My sister wants some ribs, just gotta figure out how to get more smoke duration. On the low setting lid down the apple wood does not burn well.
