Now I'm somewhat better I thought I'd look into the rocket stove idea.
I welded the front opening before retesting and found I jumped over 50 degrees more than before.
I know it's not pretty but hey I'm not the best welder in Toney Alabama. :D :D
After it heated up it seem to really draw good, but I ran out of time and will retest this weekend. I did find out pellets do not burn as hot as dried wood, so I may have to rethink the fuel for this set up

Hmmmm. kind of surprised that the pellets are not as hot as regular wod....WHat kind of pellets, and what kind of wood? If you have 100% Oak pellets - I would love to see you test with those.

B and H Apple from academy sports store. I do have hickory but no oak pellets
