Breakfast Night!

Tonight it was breakfast for dinner.
A few weeks ago I picked up a couple of Panettone(Italian sweet bread)with the intention of using one for French toast. The last time I had it it seemed a bit dry and would be perfect for making French toast with.
I sliced one into thick slices and set it aside.
Some of the slices of one pound of bacon that was cooked outside on the griddle.
The Panettone French toast.
My eggs over easy.
Time to eat!!!
I had my French toast after the eggs and grits.
Pardon the egg yolk, I used the same plate.
The Panettone has raisins and bits of candied fruit in it so when cooking some got sort of toasted and gives a nice texture and flavor.
Excellent meal!!!

We make breakfast dinner a lot too! I use brioche bread for the french toast. Bacon in the oven is the best way to go! 275F for 25 minutes, then 325 for another 5-10 minutes. Perfect every time
