So...whether your team made it nor not ( I do feel for the Ohio State fans...that was a close call - whether it was right or not - who knows?)
Who will win it all? Do you like the current play-off system? Does it need expanding? OR...any other comments?
May we all keep in mind...a "sports fan" is NOT a fan of ONLY their team...but the spirit of competition, fair play and honor in both victory and defeat. SO, let us have fun - and rib one another in that spirit. Because friendship is more important than football. ;)

I just hope the next 2 games will be close...and that they are well officiated. No quality athlete wants to win under a cloud of questionable calls. My feelings are that they happen too often. We have the technology....WHY do the calls get muffed so much of the time?

Random thoughts - the last couple of years the "semi finals" have been blowouts but I hope this year is closer. It is good to have them back on New Year's day.
If the Bama defense is healthy, they will be tough to beat, but the offense has to make 3rd downs which has been a problem the last couple of games. It is easy to be Monday morning QB, but I still fail to see that when their running game is going and Scarborough is "on", why they don't exploit it more.

Gus....I think your assessment is right on. And I will add that when Alabama hits the field - I look at the size and physical conditioning and truly - they look like mid career NFL players. Mature men. Dang scary for most other teams.
Theirs is a power game. I think of OU as a "finesse" team. UGA seems to combine the 2...and Clemson - is modeled very much in the image of Alabama.

I'm gonna take Bama vs Georgia in the championship game. Bama has to much defense and Clemson doesn't have that qb Watson anymore.
I will never root for owho to win a game except at Baylor. Georgia showed they are for real.

Just one thought about the QB for Clemson...He is putting up better numbers than Watson. And he is faster on his feet as well.
I look for teh Alabama/Clemson game to be a barn burner......Alabama has revenge on their mind tho, and it could get lopsided quickly if Clemson get intimidated early.

I agree on the qb, but in games like this its more than stats. I want Clemson so win, but I think Bama pulls it off. Great topic, love it

My wife and I are big time college football fans. I'm glad the bowl season has started. Im gonna try and watch every game, but doubt that will happen. I would like to see Georgia win though, they are my fav SEC team.
