Title: sous vide cooking container

Can anyone recommend a good sous vide cooking container or is a stock pot ok? I see some posts where some cover the cooking and others don't.

I'm partial to the Rubbermaid Commercial line; I use the 18qt for most stuff, along with a lid that has a cut-out for my Anova:

I have yet to buy this one, but I have my eye on it.  They guys on the YouTube channel Sous Vide Everything use these.

This combo is what I use, only in the 12 quart size. For me it is better than using a stock pot (which I used prior to purchasing the Rubbermaid container & lid).

Depends on what  I am cooking,

I started with a Coleman 6 pack cooler and used it for most things,  now mostly use an eight quart stainless stockpot.

If its something larger, or an extended cook   I use one of the Rubbermaid container with a lid.
