Title: Do We Need an Intervention?
Post by: LostArrow on August 30, 2013, 08:43:04 AM
Lets face it we were all a bit worried when Smoke ordered his new yoder offset ::)
But now in the last 24 hours we see this :o

SMOKE POSTED
"Thanks to Ed telling us about Old Country smokers and Jaxon's excellent videos, I pulled the trigger on a Old Country Wrangler. The Pecos is not available on-line anymore. I spoke to a very nice young lady at an Academy store in Katy, Texas and she measured the Wrangler for me and really helped me out. In fact, I got the Wrangler for 399.99 with 89.00 freight shipping to my door........just unheard of......once Eric comes by with the Yoder Abilene, I will be all set from here on out..."

And this

Naaaah. He is just fine.

He loves what he is doing and this brings joy to his heart and a smile to his face.

Heck, I have toyed with the idea of an oval smoker and a new video camera lately as well. We are all crazy in our own eccentric ways. But really, it's harmless. Once you think about things like this self control prevails. However, I still may get that new video camera.

I am sure that he will enjoy his Yoder Abilene and the Old Country Wrangler. Will it stop there? I doubt it. I think that he has an oval product in his future. Of maybe that Buckaroo Banzai product he was talking about the other day. Maybe not, because that uses wood and he is a charcoal man. Definitely an egg/oval product for him. Then maybe he can write another review on it.

Go for it Smoke, and don't look back!

The Yoder off-set was cancelled and I ordered the Yoder 16 " Grill from Eric. Then I grabbed the Old Country stick burner. I don't want to grill in my smoker or smoke in my griller.......... ;)

ya know.  just get a weber 26" kettle and do it all.  and for a lot less money.  you always loved cooking on your weber.  use the extra money to buy your lady a nice gift for putting up w/ you.  that's what you should do.   8)

Got over 500 lbs of various mini-splits cut up VOD  ;) Charcoal is for grilling and to start a coal base in the stick-burner. Mini-splits for the rest of the cook........they don't call me Smokeasaurus for nothing..... ;) ;)
