A big hello from Germantown. I am fairly new to smoking but a long time charcoal man. My tools of choice are Weber smokey mountain and a Rec Tec pellet grill. Hope to expand my knowledge base to become a better backyard provider of smokey goodness.

I am truly overwhelmed with your wishes of welcome. Thank You. I do really love my RT pellet smoker. My wife and I returned home from the great wet north of Wisconsin on Sunday for a Packer Game and ribs on the smoker. 4 hrs later we had a great meal and a Packer victory (Hey IL, sorry about the groin ;D). Monday saw me doing a first time apple crisp ala iron skillet on the RT. It was outstanding. (my wife who has always made them before in the oven said this was the best one ever.)
