Title: Long short ribs
Post by: GusRobin on October 19, 2013, 03:25:33 PM
Went to Publix and had the butcher cut some beef short ribs but left them long.
Here they are sprinkled with some EEOV and gunpowder.

Last time I used the Bradley I had some trouble with the puck feeder. I think it is just a matter of having to clean it after 4 years. I wanted to watch some football and not have to hassle with it so I used the 6 inch Amazin smoke tube and hickory pellets.

That's it for now. Film at 11 or actually more pics at about 6.

I remove the control unit for cleaning and use a putty knife to scrape the heating area, bottom and sides.  Then a little fine sandpaper and you are good to go.

The ribs look like they are going to be good.

I am glad you didn't get any short long ribs. I figure with the long short ribs you can save one for me...(http://i1213.photobucket.com/albums/cc469/s1cott11/funny%20icons/1987_food.gif) (http://s1213.photobucket.com/user/s1cott11/media/funny%20icons/1987_food.gif.html)

That's one awesome looking meal right there.  Gus, what's that between the Bradley V-drip tray and the tray holding the Amazin?  I don't recognize it.

It is a heat deflector made by a forum member. He made a few of them a couple of years ago. I don't think he sells them anymore.

I don't even like beef ribs, but those look like they would change my way of thinking  ;)
