Got the PBC fired up with chicken legs in the Big Easy Basket using the leg racks. One rebar routed through opposite holes that is suspending the basket...

Legs were seasoned with Mo' Rockin and WOW. I left them in for 1 hour and then 10 minutes with the lid removed at the end...

Chicken turned out great! That last 10 minutes of high heat really made the skin nice and crispy without burning it! And the chicken was so moist! Some of the best chicken legs I have made to date!
-
the legs look "gooder than grits" and that BIg easy basket looks very handy for all sorts of things.
-
Mike, I love it! Great idea! I gotta try this soon! :P

What a great idea, muebe! Now that you've done it, it seems obvious, thanks for sharing this. Chicken legs for dinner tonight.

Great idea Mike. Legs don't look half bad either ;)
-
Great looking gams there Mike :P :P Good use/adaptation of your existing tools :)
-
Chicken looks awseome buddy!

Outside-the-box thinking gives us yet another great idea...
Are you sure it is okay to cross-pollinate products like that?
If using the basket for legs works, would the basket also work for a whole chicken?
just askin'...

Basket would work for anything that will fit including whole chicken. I can however hang birds on the hooks. The legs not as easy so the BE basket does the trick ;)

Very nice, muebe - you're always thinkin' of something new aid different to try!
-
Those are some sexy looking legs.
-
Im major impressed with that cooker too.
-
Nicely done :P
-
Mmmm, good looking chicken and dinner.
-
Nice, I've done the same, thought I got the idea from someone else here but then couldn't find the post to give credit. Maybe it was you, Meube?
It's a great way to crank out a ton of legs!
-
Dang it, muebe, your chicken looks so good I had to get the accessory kit for the SRG!
Then I had to make a couple of impulse purchases one for my wife and one for me. For her, an LED cocktail sign to go with the pizza one we have in the gazebo.
The good deal for me: the Amazen 6-inch tube smoker is on sale at Amazon at a 33% discount - now $19.95 with free shipping

Don't know if this is exactly what muebe has, but I actually purchased what looks like a complete kit with rib clips, drumstick holder, skewers, etc - seems like a really good price for $19.91
