Bryan,
Welcome from a PBC owner in North Carolina.

Art
Hello Art, thanks for reaching out.  Im new to this forum but wanted to know if there was a specific forum for those who own the PBC?

There are  at least 6 ways I can think of to "ramp up" everything in the known universe about the PBC! ;D

First - look down the index page for the Forum Sponsors Section. Then scroll down tot he Pit Barrel Cooker section. LOTS of great cooks in there.

As well - look in the  Charcoal Section on the Index page - and you will find some PBC cooks in there as well. And - even if they are not specific to the PBC - there are a lot of things that apply to the PBC as well as other cookers to be learned in that section.

And - thirdly - You can type the search term PBC or Pit Barrel Cooker in the red search bar at the upper right of any page - to search for anytime the PBC has been mentioned in a post.

Post your questions in the PBC forum section. We will get you answers ASAP!

Next, don't forget to look up videos that Noah and Amber may already have posted on Facebook - pertaining to cooking with the PBC. Very good instructionals!

Lastly - don't be shy - or feel embarrassed to ask ANYTHING about how to get the most out of your cooking on your PBC. That is what we all here for. TO learn form one another and share what we learn with anyone seeking to learn too!
I will make you a promise - that no one will make you feel uncomfortable for asking even the simplest questions. We all have to start somewhere, and that is usually at the beginning. Learn the basics. Then once you are confident, experiment a little with each cook.

And - most of all...have fun!

Another Minnesota (and PBC owner) welcome.

I think Tim said it very well as far as learning to use this cooker or learning in general. You will find the folks on this forum to be very forthcoming in answering questions and offering advice. The only other thing I'd add about the PBC, if you go through the videos posted on their site and still have problems - drop them a note.

I am not sure you can find a company or folks more willing to ensure your success than Noah and Amber. As I started out (and had my own struggles) they answered every question and even called me to be sure it was working.

Glad you found us.

We really do not recruit new members in the ways that many sites do. So - you have to either find us by searching, or be invited to join.

So...if you like it here, please tell others that you think will add to the discussions here. It is how we grow quality content :)

Greetings from Cape Cod!

There are some great BBQ joints in KC... I've visited many but not all of them.

Thanks.  Thanks.  This town loves Andy Reid and feels he is going to the guy to get us over the hump. To be determined...
