I have a choice of getting a weber 22' performer or an 18'WSM  - (free)  what would you choose any why?

Not only is it bigger, but anything you can do on the WSM can be done on the Performer and a whole lot more.

Performer. Unless you have a charcoal grill presently that you are very happy with. The WSM is a heck of a smoker.

Then again the Performer has that sweet table and charcoal storage bin.

Forgot to mention it is the basic version of the performer so it doesn't have the charcoal basket.
