Otto's O.F.B. (Over-Fired Broiler)

Otto's O.F.B. (Over-Fired Broiler) brings steakhouse quality to your home. At temperatures of over 1500˚F, your steak gets the perfect crust. Otto's O.F.B. is 100% made in Germany.

For $1,195.00 it better do more than just cook my steak :)

I was sooooo tempted to sell a couple of my "searing cookers" a couple of months ago and give one of these a try.  The more I thought about it, I just couldn't bring myself to plunk down that kind of coin!  Crazy expensive!

Yeah that's a lot for a one-trick pony...  with a built-in bottle opener.

I thought about getting one of those Namath top-down broilers. But they stopped producing them. A lot cheaper. If someone in America could produce a quality residential unit at a reasonable price I would go that route. But until then, the Cook-Air is my sear machine.
