New Years Eve Surf and Turf
« Reply #-1 on: January 02, 2019, 05:15:36 PM »
Picked up some nice Prime Rib Eye Steaks (2 inches thick) from Costco and while I was there picked up some lobster tails for the SV.  I grilled the Rib Eyes on the SRG and they took about 8 minutes a side.  I took the lobster tails and cooked them in boiling water for 90 minutes, then pulled out meat put in a bag with garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, and butter.  I cooked the lobster tails in the SV @137 for about 1 hour.   The lobster turned out really good and the steak was very good as well.  I served the steaks with garlic butter on top and made and melted some garlic butter to serve with the lobster.  Made for a nice New Years Eve dinner.
