I was watching Fox and Friends this morning and they had some fellows preparing some gourmet bacon and it looked great!  They cooked the bacon in the oven and then dipped it in chocolate and then covered with various toppings.  Keep your mouth closed because you're gonna be drooling for these.  Cover the bacon dipped in chocolate with your choice of the following: bacon bits, chocolate chips, colored sprinkles and any other things you'd put on a sundae.  You can also dip the bacon in white chocolate.  I guess the theory is to treat the bacon like an ice cream base covered in chocolate and then put anything you want as a topping.  Dee

Enough of this amateurish annual celebration stuff! If EVERY day isn't Bacon Day you need a new calendar.

If you don't love bacon, you are just plain wrong.

No bacon for me today, but I had some baby backs.  That's at least from the same animal.

Forgot about that heading to Publix to get some, although out here on the Key traffic is real bad on holiday weekends, I buy the uncured bacon don't last as long but still good. Maverick Brand it's real good.
