Hello from the Pacific NW
« Reply #-1 on: December 12, 2013, 06:50:25 PM »
Good afternoon everyone. I'm Joel from Mill Creek WA (originally from New Hope, MN) and I joined the group after talking with my friend (and Hero member!) PappyMN. A nice benefit of living in WA is that even though it may be rainy it's warm enough to grill out year round. I currently have a CharBroil (yes I know..will be upgraded soon) Propane gill, a Weber One Touch Gold Kettle charcoal grill and my lovely wife just bought me a Weber Smokey Mountain smoker.  I have always enjoyed grilling out and I am pretty good with the basics but I would really like to take it to another level in 2014, especially with the smoker. I am looking forward to gaining some knowledge from the experts and and trying out some new ideas.

Hey Tee, thought we had a screening process? ;D

Better tighten it up!

In all seriousness, Joel is a good egg. And he gives as good as he gets.....so fire away.

If he gets out of line, I can accidentally post some incriminating pics.

Welcome from another Pac NW member!  We do have it pretty darn good here for weather most of the time, especially compared to these other hardcore Qers like Pappy!
