Smoked turbinado sugar
« Reply #-1 on: April 09, 2012, 10:15:52 AM »
This past weekend I had six butts to coomk for a church fund raiser.  So I figured if I have a few cookers going why not smoke some nuts and sugar.  i'll let the sugar and nuts rest for about 2 weeks then I plan on making on making rub and a sauce out of the sugar and eat the nuts while cooking the sauce.

The sugar was a gift from LA back last month at Jaxon's house. I really look forward to using it.

Hmmm, smoking sugar....  I like that idea!

...and eat the nuts while cooking the sauce.

I like that idea even better!

If you look close you will see the "thing" hanging from the arm of the canopy.  It's to keep me from hitting my head on the arm (which I have done many a times)  :o :o :o  Kimmie picked it up at the dollar store  for that purpose
