Chicken legs using Big Easy Basket
« Reply #-1 on: May 12, 2014, 09:48:04 PM »
Got the PBC fired up with chicken legs in the Big Easy Basket using the leg racks. One rebar routed through opposite holes that is suspending the basket...

Legs were seasoned with Mo' Rockin and WOW. I left them in for 1 hour and then 10 minutes with the lid removed at the end...

Plated with salad(BBQ Ranch Dressing)...

Chicken turned out great! That last 10 minutes of high heat really made the skin nice and crispy without burning it! And the chicken was so moist! Some of the best chicken legs I have made to date!

the legs look "gooder than grits" and that BIg easy basket looks very handy for all sorts of things.

Outside-the-box thinking gives us yet another great idea...

Are you sure it is okay to cross-pollinate products like that?

If using the basket for legs works, would the basket also work for a whole chicken?

just askin'...

Basket would work for anything that will fit including whole chicken. I can however hang birds on the hooks. The legs not as easy so the BE basket does the trick ;)
