Title: How steady is your heat?
Post by: smokendevo on September 18, 2014, 05:11:09 PM
So after watching a video yesterday on how the heat fluctuates in dehydrators I decided to test my Sadona. I have a tray of tomatoes going right now and I am using the divider tray so only one fan is in use. I placed one probe at the back of the tray and one in front. The one in the back fluctuated more than front but it took the one in the front longer to settle out. Interesting for sure. The temp was set at 118°F.

Would you like to chart my stick burner and break your graphing program?  :D

Forgot to mention I used a I-Grill to chart it.

I have a convection fan on my Bradley so it is also my dehydrator. The Auberins PID keeps rock solid temps.

Looks like your Sedona does a fine job ;)
