At the tailgate/ fundraiser I cooked for last Sunday , the beer served for the "Beer & Butt" ticket was naked pig. A pint of beer & a plate of food for $10!
Well I only had a couple before 6:15 when I pulled the first three butts for serving, but has several more before the nite was thru!
Yesterday went to get my cookers & Maggie ( the bar owner ) treated me to a draft & they still had naked pig on draft.
It's a German style ale. 6% alchohol. Moderately hoppy , flavorful with a citrus hint, neither bitter nor sweet but very balanced. Goes down easy ( maybe too easy)

Sounds like a winner LA...Will it be a regional - or just local brew?
-
It's brewed in Alabama , I'm guessing ay least the southeast.
-
I will look at Total Wine to see if they have it.

I will look for it at BevMo ;)

An Alabama beer, I should be able to pick that up locally. Looking at their website it looks lilke the company was founded here in Birmingham and is brewing their beer in an old historic building up the road in Gadsden, AL. Alabama is getting to have quite a few craft beer makers.

Here is their web site, it has a store locater. You can put your zip code in and find the closest location. Looks like a lot of pubs are serving it here on draught.
