Don was on his way for a work assignment in NC and came through this area. Terry invited us to his house for a real nice time. We got to meet each other’s wives and they really got along. Andrea (my wife) had such a great time. Kerry, Terry’s wife, and Terry are great host. We felt like we had known each other for years. Terry had some family over and everyone was great. It was one of the best cookouts I’ve been to and the weather was outstanding.
My wife got to feed the chicks and she talked about it all the way home like a 6 year old girl. She was so excited. 8)
I didn’t get a pic of everything, Terry went over the top.
Ribs, OMG how good.
Chicken, smoked, tender and juicy.
Mushrooms, bacon and two kinds of cheese, I could eat the whole try but was really trying to be good.
Green matters made like a cheese pizza. Unreal good.
Homemade guacamole his sister made, some of the best I think I’ve ever had.

Looks like an amazing time. Terry did oysters and low country boil at last years Gathering. Fantastic
food. He definitely knows how to rock a cooker!

Ray, that looks like a great time Terry and Kerry are great people. We are at the beach but far away at Mexico Beach. Wish this had been one of our trips to Gulf Shores or Pensacola.

While we we're eating I asked Kerry, so, where do you get the eggs (something else I forgot, she made deviled eggs, OMG ::) ). Anyway, where do you get your eggs that we are eating, from the chicks, she said. Then I look at Andrea ??? and say, where did the chicks we are eating come from :o ? Kerry said we don't eat our hens and Andrea's face went from sad to happy again. ;D

We had a great time! I hope we can repeat it often and anybody on here is welcome... Ray is right, I feel like most of us have been friends for years ...

I would like to second what RAD said. Terry and Kerry went way over the top with their hospitality and food. It was wonderful. I would also like to add that Terry's son, Chris was there, too. Y'all know Cris from the Fall Gathering last year.
I truly enjoyed the day. Terry and Kerry have a beautiful home and grounds. It was fun watching Andrea get acquainted wth the chickens. Once again, I over ate because the food was so good. Thank you, Terry and Kerry for a great visit.
P.S. - I stopped in Augusta and had lunch with Dee on Monday. Dee is always fun to visit with. He has so many good stories. He is looking good. I am sure that Dee will be posting the pics of our visit.
