One of the things that I like to use my deep fryer for is for fish and chips, typically do the fish with flour/egg/panko.
Would i be able to cook the fish in air fryer and get good results? I see lots of people doing frys so I know that would work. Thanks.

Heck yeah!
Have done chicken cutlets this way...I see no reason fish would not work well!
Let us know what you find if you try it.

I don't have a air fryer yet, but if they get good results for fish I will be buying one. Is there one that you recommend?

A few of us have the power air fryer XL. But some new oven ones have hit the market that look even more versatile.

We have had our Power Air Fryer XL (the 5.3 qt) for just about 2 years now and it has been rock solid.
We do whole chickens in ours and they come out so good, I don't use my PBC for chicken anymore!!
They offer a smaller 3.4 qt size I believe but spring for the 5.3 qt. You will be glad you did.

I have never pre-heated in our Air Fryer.
Why should I do this Pam??

It kind of crisps the bottom of the food, speciallywith some sort of coating or breading..only takes 3 minutes on mine, but it improves the bottom, even if you flip stuff over. .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.

Gonna start doing that......thanks for the tip.

I hear people do this too. But not sure why. Isn't it full blast as soon as you turn it on?

it's like putting meat in a cold pan thing..just my way of doing it...☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.

Pre heating the metal basket is hugely beneficial when doing stuff like chicken cutlets or anything that I do an egg wash and panko or other crumbs on.
I think it is no different than what we experience with pre heating a gas grill when we want to do say....hamburgers.

Good feedback. I'll up my game

That's the one I have, I have posts in the air fryer thread with photos and cooks in it. I like the fact that it doubles as an oven for baking. Makes a good toaster also.
