Had to re-season my old Griswold skillet.. Why not.
SRF sirloins into the Traeger on smoke.

Meanwhile, the MAK is turned up to 11 and screaming hot. Griswold is oiled up and smoking away.
Run 3 russet potatoes and a Vidalia onion through my new Mandoline slicer toy.

Onions down first. Cook until translucent.

Layer the spud slices on...

Scoop it out into a foil pan and get the Griswold screaming hot again.
Pull the smoked steaks off of the Traeger and throw them down for some char.

I really feel sorry for the folks who didn't eat at your house last night!
BTW I'm in GA judging a contest and last night there was a pre-contest steak category -- this is rare in KCBS and there are no official rules for it. My table judged seven entries. None of them were outstanding. A couple were pretty good. Your steak would have walked away with it, catsquirter!
