Last Harvest

Planted some pole and bush beans before we left for our 8 week stay on the Oregon Coast.  Harvested the beans just in time.  Could have been picked sooner (if I were home) but they're still exceptional when steamed.  Tomatoes are pretty much shot but got me a few ...  8)

Time to clean up the garden - our town allows us to place trimmings, leaves, garden plants, etc. piled on the street which they pick up and recycle.  Makes it easy  :)

Love them beans pete. I been picking the tomatoes and giving most away. My dehydrator has been going all week dehydrating the rest. My pepper plants (6 in all) only produced 5 peppers. They are in the green house and still flowering with some very small peppers starting but I dont think the weather will hold off long enough to pick any more. Out west in Calgary they have a snow fall warning in affect today   :o :o :o hope it stays out west.

LOL this is my friends daughters front yard in Calgary right this very minute. I really feel for those people out west. We are suppose to get lots of rain tomorrow but no snow.
