I have heard that a raw onion works really good to clean a hot grill but never tried it myself.

Interesting idea. Will try an onion, but not the grillion. That looks like an expensive uni-tasker. If the onion works, I figure I can use a long "grilling fork" or even one of my old wire brushes to hold the onion. I watched the video of the grillion and it seems to waste a lot of onion. If this works, I think using a slice of onion on an old grill brush will not only protect me from "lost bristles" but allow the use of more of the onion.
