Art, sorry to hear about your wife and that you are not making the trip. A good wife is the best blessing a man can have so we do whatever we have to do to take care of them. I knew my wife and I would not be able to make the NOLA trip because she doesn't travel too well yet. Hopefully we can all meet up at the fall gathering in GA and eat some good food.

your a good guy art.  got to take care of the wife.  nothing more important.  nothing.  you guys can go next year.   get well soon Maureen.  :)  ya know art, I'm thinking this might work in your favor.  I'm thinking a new smoker?  a box of steaks?  a new gun?  fishing pole & reel?  you've always wanted one of those yeti coolers.   ;)

Actually, I have a new toy coming.  My new truck will be here in about 2 weeks.  I'll post more details later (along with some picts, of course).  I am already planning a road trip out west to do some fishing.  Not sure how far west just now, but it will involve a lot of fun.  I'll post more later.
