Thursday I went to Sandman’s to stock up on some beer for the Father’s Day week-end weekend. He came out to chat and ask if I had ever tried the Kolsch beer; he stocks some good craft beers now. I said no and he handed me a bottle to try. Thanks Sandman; tasted great!
This one is brewed by the New Holland brewery in Holland, MI so I don’t know how widely it is distributed. It is called Full Circle and I like the taste of it, not too hoppy and a fresh crisp taste.
Kolsch beer is only supposed to be brewed in the Cologne (Koln) Germany area. So this is called a Kolsch Style beer. I think I will run up to Sandman’s and get me a six pack!

Sounds great I'll have to see if my local Total Wine has it.

Don, if I remember correctly, traditionally, when drinking beer in Cologne, it is not true Kolsch-style beer if when you hold up your stein you cannot see the bell tower of the local cathedral. After awhile I don't think we'd see much! Lol
