I haven't even had a chance to try this yet because it needed to cook the liquid down some more and I had to leave for work. Had my daughter pull when it was ready. But it looks as smells really nice. Some nice smoke ring going too. Wolfes pepper stout in case anyone has any doubt.

Great recipe that Smoke turned me onto. Never fails to turn out great. Very easy to make.

Just heated it back up in the oven to try it out and had two sandwiches along with some smoked baked beans from last night and meatheads sweet-sour slaw.
It's pretty good! Very pronounced stout flavor though. I used one jalepeno and that was about right to keep me from getting yelled at. I'll make it again but it won't be an every week kind of thing. Id like to try it with a lighter beer and also with a ky bourbon ale. Hell, maybe even a few shots of bourbon in there. Bourbon + beef = hit.
Not a bad recipe. Definitely interesting. Sandwich goes well with a little jigger of Sriracha.
