6 racks of ribs
« Reply #-1 on: October 04, 2013, 01:41:23 PM »
Monday I cooked ribs for friends just for fun. They have a 6 year old and twin 4 year olds. They can clean some ribs up. I took 6 racks of st Louis ribs and cut them in half, and hooked them back to back. I wasn't sure how they would cook this way but there was no problems. They were on for 4 hours. You can get a lot of food in that little guy.  They were coated with a local butchers' sauce. Once again I can't say enough about how good the food is coming out of the bpc! On guard duty!

I've always limited my rib cooks in my PBC to four racks because I cut them in half so as not to get the bottom ones singed.  I never thought of your "split rack on each hook" method but it sure seems to work  :o

And look how many racks that PBC can hold! All evenly cooked.

The PBC is one awesome set it and forget it cooker!

Anyone looking to get one don't hesitate. It is worth every penny!

That's a great idea I wouldn't have thought of. Thanks!
