Howdy, all! I'm Jo3sh, but all my friends call me Jo3sh. I was referred to your friendly forum by Eric, aka GrillGeek, when I talked to him about buying a GMG. I've been smoking butts and ribs so far on a couple of Brinkmann-style vertical water smokers, but I am hoping to be able to make the next step soon and get serious.
I know a completely stupid amount about beer, having been a homebrewer and beer geek for about 20 years now, so if we have any off-topic discussions along that line, I'll be happy to chime in. I also fly high-power rockets out in the Mojave desert, and I'm really hoping to be able to build a kit car soon. Yes, I have too many hobbies and not enough time. The nice thing about low'n'slow cooking is that you can go do something else for a few hours, checking back occasionally.
On the BBQ front, my wife and I have declared war on pigs and are attempting to eat them all. No success so far, but perhaps you, my brothers and sisters, will join me in the struggle against the porcine scourge. It's OK if you prefer to wage war on bovines, or perhaps fight against the encroaching piscean threat, I certainly won't discriminate.
