I did Country style ribs for our dinner last night.
I preheated my GMG to 275°.
Seasoned my ribs with SPG & applewood rub.
Smoked for 1 hour & 15 min.
I put the ribs in a foil pan with a mixture of BBQ sauce & orange juice.
Covered with foil lid and cooked for another hour to a temp of 198°.
I removed them from the pan and back on the grates.
Basted & let the sauce firm up for 10 minutes.
Plated with boiled potatoes (v's favorite
) Green beans & white bread.
Came out pretty good. Very good flavor & good mixture of lean & fat.
I think they will be better next time if I cook them a bit lower & slower.
V said they were perfect so as long as she is happy I have done my job.
Thanks for looking.
