Birthday Dinner - Lobster
First of all, I want to thank everyone on the forum for your Birthday wishes. It’s HELL getting older, but it beats the alternative. I will strive to continue to live it up at every turn. Thank you one and all.
We decided to postpone our dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Tee tonight. The weather was not conducive to driving over the mountain to Asheville to meet them. So, on to Plan B. I still wanted lobster, Maine lobster that is. We stopped by our local fish monger and found a couple of nice looking lobsters. This is after their swim in boiling water.
Melted some clarified butter, added a cheese cloth package of minced garlic and a touch of Kosher salt. After picking the lobster from the shells, I put it in the melted butter to warm up for serving.
We had a bottle of Prosecco chilled to go with the lobster. All I can say is, “BURP”! Good groceries!! I may need a Pepcid Complete before bedtime, however.
