Title: My Valentine dinner
Post by: N. Ontario Smoker on February 15, 2016, 04:54:20 PM
I heavily salted two triple A strip loins on Friday. Put on a rack in the fridge for Sunday. Picked up 5 small lobster tails, some flowers and some wine. I'm going to BBQ. Lots of brownie points comin' my way on Sunday.
Got up on Sunday it was minus 34 degrees Celsius plus the wind out of the North made it minus 45 which is 49 degrees below zero Fahrenheit. It only warmed up to 20 below by dinner time so I ended up pan frying the steaks on the stove, steamed the tails, nuked the potatoes, drank the wine, looked at the flowers, said I love you to the wife and I think I still got them points.

I like when it is cold because the wife likes the Human Heater... but that is way tooooo cold! Stay safe and sounds like you had a nice little Valentines Day weekend.
