Title: Grilled Nanna S'mores!
Post by: GrillGirl@cookinpellets on May 27, 2016, 11:47:40 AM
Ok, this is an oldie but a goody. My mom would do these after my dad was done charring the burgers!
1 banana per person. I like a somewhat firm but not green banana.
Cut the banana lengthwise, but not all the way through, making a pocket. Now crush graham crackers and put in pocket, but don't fill. Now add chocolate chips to top of pocket.
Heat Pellet grill to 300 and put bananas on for 1 hour or until soft. I usually use a chunk of aluminum foil to make a base for the bananas so they sit upright.
They will be very hot and floppy, so be careful when you remove. Plate next to a big scoop of ice cream and finish by topping with more crushed graham crackers.

Lots of great campfires recipes out there..we cook Twinkies on the open fire..only takes a minute or they burn and wait till they cool some, the sugar coating on the outside carmelizes and it gets HOT.
Also dip strawberries in marshmellow fluff and cook over the fire..excellent.   .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.
