Title: Apartment grill recommendations
Post by: Ka Honu on August 01, 2016, 07:38:11 PM
I've got a friend who just moved to a 3rd floor apartment and is looking for a relatively small grill to use. Apparently he has to go with electric or small propane bottles only to avoid breaking the house rules. He asked me about a Char Broil Patio Bistro Electric and any other recommendations.

Suggestions or recommendations for him (other than moving or burning down the building)?

Mahalo.

There used to be a grill that worked pretty good for us - Fire & Ice.  After moving out of the apartment, we used it for camping until I forgot about it and it was uncleanable after one winter...

Not sure if it is still made though....

I have an older model Char Broil Patio electric  before IR & with lava rocks. It cooked pretty well. in my condo at one time

For propane small bottles I like my Char broil https://www.amazon.com/Char-Broil-TRU-Infrared-Portable-Grill2Go-Grill/dp/B00BFPMLI8     ***

*** the only thing is this thing cooks hot. Great on steaks, burgers & chops. It does not do as well on low & slow....but I love it
