Title: Flintstones pork chops
Post by: 1Bigg_ER on June 17, 2017, 07:59:53 PM
Haven't done pork chops in ages. Salt and pepper, 145 degrees hot tub time machine. Finished on the Lodge sportsman.

Nice chops. Wish I could find them that thick.
I've been wanting a Lodge for just the purpose you used it for.  You may have pushed me over the edge.   ;)

It's a searing machine.
I got these from Sam's Club. I think they were an inch and a half thick.

Nice! Its hard to beat thick cut pork chops.

Wish I could find them that thick.

For me the easiest way to get them is to buy a half pork loin from my local butcher, and ask them to cut it into thick chops.
