Title: Random turkey question

Planning a first turkey roast (probably 14#), and would prefer to have pan on lower rack below turkey turkey on top shelf (turkey would be horizontal): does anyone know if there is enough head room on the MAK 1 for this?

You shouldn't have any difficulty. Even with the pre-2016 version 1 Stars, we were able to fit FOUR 15# turkeys into the grill using a full upper grate. There is 14 inches of height inside the 2016+ models.
