Does anyone have one of these?
It seems pretty small. Is it big enough to do everyday cooking on or is it pretty much for camping, etc. ?

I cook on mine very regularly as do a few others on here. It is big enough for a normal size butt, a very small packer, split point or flat, a couple of racks of ribs cut down from gull length or random other things. I never use mine for camping style cooks. It is a permanent patio smoker for me. Perfect for family size cooking IMO.

I have one and love it..it's my most used grill and especially in the Winter season.
The capacity for some of the regular items you might cook are 3 pork butts, 2 briskets, 4 slabs of baby back ribs in rib racks, and some others and it is big enough for most backyard style cooking. It will cook and bake and everything in between.

I swore I was downsizing my grill area, BUT my wife saw the sales ad on Sam's Club and she asked if I would use it if she bought it for me. Well, duh!! ;D She misses the Traeger Junior that we gave to the youngest a couple years ago. Plus this will sit just find in the back of my pickup truck. Should be here within a week. I am looking forward to putting it to work. With the cigarette lighter plug ins that it comes with I can definitely take it on a road trip, which I will definitely will be doing.

I just placed my order for one.
I've been wanting to try a pellet grill, but the price for a quality unit was offputting.
Every thing I have read about this one is positive, so I took the plunge.
At this price I won't feel too bad if I don't like the pellet experience.
Thanks Dave, for directing me to your blog. After seeing your cooks on the Davy Crockett I feel confident it will accommodate all I will need to cook at any given time.
(I just don't cook large amounts at one time.)

I think you fellows will love the little grill and use it often.
There is one modification that will make that little grill shine and that is a second raised grid which will double your capacity and also work very well with any high temperature baking.
This cooling rack from Amazon fits just perfect inside the grill.

Correct me if I am wrong, but don't all the new Green Mountains come with a special grilling insert that sits over the grease tray??
