I have both a Big Easy and an SRG. The SRG gets used for the traditional cooks it does so well. But my Big Easy has become my wok cooker.

I bought a really nice cast iron wok in San Francisco's Chinatown and I can't believe how great it works with the Big Easy. I think one of the reason it works so well is because the wok is cast iron. I doubt it would work on a hammered steel or aluminum wok.

BBQ..does you cast iron wok have the double bottom on it. Mine is by mr BBQ and has the extended bottom and works great on TBE, SRG and the BEESR. Pam .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.

Nope mine is the traditional Chinese wok with the all round bottom. Your type is the Americanized wok that's made to sit flat on a stove top. I don't know how it would work on the Big Easy.

Yup been using mine that way also, great for when your out camping. Works perfect on the big easy

Now I have a reason to visit the second hand stores, Very good idea with the Wok.

Mine works on everything. Stove, side grill, tbe, srg and beesr, even open fire. Can ya tell I camp a lot? This wok is fabulous. I love cast iron. Pam .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.

I know the flat bottom type wok works great. But I prefer the round bottom and slope of the traditional Chinese wok.

Flat on the bottom on the outside and round on the inside, the best of both worlds ;)
