Simple Saturday Night Ribs
« Reply #-1 on: August 23, 2014, 07:42:51 PM »
2 racks of spares that were seasoned this morning with Plowboys Yardbird rub and refrigerated for about 5 hours.  My son has
never had Pig Candy so decided to make some to snack on while the ribs cooked.

Everything put onto the Grid Iron. I am burning a 50/50 mixture of hickory and cherry in the pellet chute and I have straight cherry
in the 6 inch tube.

Ribs are done. I did wrap them in foil at the 3 hour mark with blue bottle margarine, brown sugar, honey and BPS Jallelujah
Jalapeno/Bacon rub. A little heat with the sweet!  NOTE: No photos of the completed Pig Candy, it was gone too fast!  ;)

Plated with some Ore-Ida steak fries done in the oven.

Ribs were awesome. Great flavor, moist and NOT fall off the bone with a nice sweet spicy taste. My son claims these are the
best ribs he has ever tasted. I told him wait until the Gathering and taste Sparky’s ribs if you want something great!
