First batch of wings on the SRG
« Reply #-1 on: December 14, 2014, 08:51:52 PM »
So this is the first time trying to cook wings with the SRG. A last minute decision before the Seahawks game.  Literally went to the store 20 minutes before the start of the game.  Tried 2 different types of methods,  one was a marinade the other was my own thrown together rub.  Garlic powder,  smoked paprika,  onion powder,  cayenne powder. The marinade and the rub was only done for 30 minutes.  They turned out pretty good.  Cooked for 40 minutes with some Hickory chips.

Great job.  The SRG makes great wings.  I found you really have to keep an eye on them so they don't over cook.  I've even injected my wings after brining.  Dee
