I sent my poached egg results to my youngest brother (well, actually the pictures...) He said he'd forgotten how delicious a poached egg could be , so took out his fancy (stainless 1 quart) pan, some water, vinegar, salt - didn't measure anything, put the eggs in and gave it a swirl. After a boil and rest (he has the details, I don't) here you go....
I asked him why the yolk was running over the toast in the second picture. He said it was because he put his snoose can under the plate to raise it up for a better picture....
I am encouraging him to join the forum, I believe he would enjoy it.
