OK,  I'm hankering a new infared grill to compliment my SRG.  Any suggestions?

I just love the new grill feeling. We got some infrared experts round here who should be on shortly to help you with your purchase.

I agree with Lost Arrow - I was one of the folks that tested the prototype of this grill. I've been using it for over 2 years now (year around including MN winters) and it really does work. I see they have made a few changes since the prototypes, looks like based on feed back the testers gave them. The cooking grate is a lot like the one on the SRG - hence the IR moniker. My 16 year old daughter claims this as HER grill - she loves using it and really enjoys no flare ups and the ability to make a screaming hot grate or move the coals away for indirect or slower cooking. Price doesn't seem too bad for what you get. Will it out-live a Weber? Probably not, but it does seem very well made.

How many you need to cook for? Lowes has the two burner that's a wonderful grill.   But if you need more tell me. Using my iPhone now and hard to type will get with you in the AM

Really all you need to do is get a good gas grill and add GrillGrates to it.       Like this  http://www.charbroil.com/products/gas-grills/traditional-series/traditional-6-burner-gas-grill  less then than 300.00 bucks to buy  then add GrillGrates so it would be infrared and your all ready.

Now, not saying this is the grill you should get,  only saying any good gas grill will be somewhat infrared with GrillGrates

The charcoal grill they build now would not be large enough for a large group cookout

He could get a gasser for quick weeknight cooks and a charcoal grill for flavor  ;) ;)

Picked up a nice little companion for my SRG.  My grilling area is growing little by little!
