Helping out after a surgery
« Reply #-1 on: October 12, 2015, 08:59:15 AM »
My oldest son's father in-law had surgery last week and Kimmie and I felt we needed to help them out by cooking dinner Saturday night.

He was in for over a week and I know how worn out they are so cooking at home would be the last thing on their mind.     I thought TURKEY day is fast approaching why not get a little practice in while helping them out.  So I did a Two Stick Turkey (Breast only) with beans, green beans and Kimmie's famous Deviled Eggs.

Two sticks butter, two table spoons Mrs.Dash seasoning.  inject 1 1/2 sticks into the bird and save the other half stick to rub on the outside before cooking

If you have Tee's W.O.W seasoning try it instead of Mrs. Dash, good stuff.  (I was out of W.O.W :( )

What a great treat and considerate gift.
Thanks for the kind words.  Not looking at this as anything other than helping out a friend in need.  I have been there more times then I care to remember and this Wed I'll be there again :( with shoulder surgery.

Beside,  ANYTIME I get to cook outside is a winner for me  ;) ;) ;) ;)

Tommy, Contrary to what Kimmie sometimes says, you're sometimes good to have around. ;)  Dee
